The Jigsaw Puzzle of Business

All businesses are the same and yet totally different!
There are many different aspects of business that need to be considered on a daily basis.

These parts make up a picture for every business.
Each is like a piece of a jigsaw puzzle. And like a puzzle when all pieces fit together effortlessly, in the right position a picture is created and with that comes clarity and direction.

We do however need to identify which pieces belong to our particular business. It’s no good picking up the manufacturing piece of the puzzle if you run a retail store. What we need to do is identify the pieces of the business puzzle which are yours. Then put them together in the correct way, in the right order.

When all resources, whether they be human, physical or financial are fitted together in the correct order, position and match your goal seamlessly, a business operates at its most efficient. If one piece is bent, stressed or in the wrong position, your business is less than perfect and needs work.

A mentor is someone whose sole aim is to take you high above the business to see all the pieces of the puzzle, so you can slot them together and build the picture you want to see.
